This being a very wide project, I had to narrow down to a specific medical field; so I decided to go with the Family Medicine. Moving forward, I reviewed various forms and tried to gain the knowledge of the workflow in a clinician’s office.
Once I was able to find the data elements that form the healthcare records, I divided the data into four main parts:
- Demographic Data
- Chief Complaint
- Patient History
- Doctor’s Review
These categories became the container for the various sub fields as observed below.
